Miss Angel Z.

Now this is a horse of a completely
different color!
Miss Angel Z. is a very refined and
beautiful mare. She's one of those that
turns heads as the cars go by, and makes
people ooh and aah when they see her.  I
first saw Angel in September 2009 when I
heard she was for sale.  I looked at her and
knew she was something unique, but I
didn't want to add another mare to the
herd at that time.  I thought I might regret
my decision later, but passed on her
at the time.
Fast forward to this year, and
her owner's contacted me and
asked if I was still interested in
her.  To be honest, I had
completely forgotten about her.
But, after they sent pictures, I
remembered quickly.
ANgel was being used as a broodmare,
to breed for performance horses.  So, the
gait is definitely there, and I remember
watching her move and liking her a lot.
When I met them and saw her in person,
I remembered the striking detail I had
forgotten.............her color.
Angel is a bay silver dapple.  She is
bay based, with the silver dapple
gene on top.  There are three
different identified SD lines in the
MFT breed, and she's not from any
of those.  She has a full brother that
looks just like her
but, he has been gelded.  It's so great to find a mare you love the body and
gait of, and then find this color on top of it.
Angel should be coming in heat soon, and she will be bred to our Joe Master
stallion for a 2011 foal.
