| Romantic Jazz came from the same place that her mother (Pzazz) did. You can see her picture at the bottom of this page to see what condition she was in when I got her. Her teeth were horrible, she was bone thin, and she had lameness issues in her right front leg. |
| And.....she was pregnant! I truly didn't think the baby would make it, but he did. I thought for a while we might be able to rehab Romance's leg, but whatever was done is permanent. She gets along with no limp, runs in pasture, and can even walk under |
| saddle with no limp. However, anything faster than a walk shows the problem immediately. So, Romance is retired to broodmare status, and is currently open, but will be bred to Lobo this spring. Her fine bone and elegant body should make a good cross with Lobo. |
| Although I don't breed for performance, it's nice to keep a good stride and shake along with the true foxtrot gait. Romance will likely live out her life here, unless I can find someone that will give her a truly loving and permanent home. She's been through too much already. |
