Whirley is yet another mare
from the Ernie Long estate,
and is another granddaughter
of Danney Joe.  And can you
say "moose"?  She's a big tank of
a mare with the old style
foxtrot that epitomizes the
early foundation bred
foxtrotters.  When you look at
her, you'd swear she was a
quarter horse until you see her
gair
This mare's forte is definitely versatility.
She's short backed, stout, and big enough
to hold a large person, but small enough to
turn and move very quickly.  She's a very
laid back and calm mare that doesn't even
flip an ear when exposed to cattle.
She is currently bred to a son of Danney
Joe, Danney's Legacy.  You can see more
information on the Nursery page.  She
would make a good match with other
versatility oriented stallions, so we'll
either cross her back to Danney's Golden
Perfection or Danney's Pride of Princess
for the 2010 breeding season.
