This is the poster child form the front of the website. He is the culmination of my dreams, as he's double Danney Joe bred up close. His sire is Lobo and his dam is Duke's Belle Star. He is built like a tank, and gaited like crazy. To top it all of, he's one of the darkest gold champagnes I've ever seen.
He's a bay silver dapple colt that may be homozygous for black and agouti. His dam was also a bay silver dapple, and is now owned by Marge Murdock, and his sire is our own Joe Master. His color is just a nice addition, as his gait is his best attribute.
I was always told the best cross was Danney Joe horses bred to Toddy's Perfection mares, so I decided to try it. His dam is a direct daughter of Toddy's Perfection, and his sire is my son of Danney Joe, Lobo. I couldn't have asked for any better. He's absolutely gorgeous, and gold champagne to boot. His body looks a lot like Lobo, and his gait is as natural as can be.
His call name is a no brainer. He's the last colt by the late Danney's Golden Perfection, so he's going to stay for a while. His dam is Toddy's Wendy, so another good cross of the lines. His face and his curiosity remind me so much of his sire. He won't be a replacement stud for his sire, but he may make a damned good gelding.

One of the prettiest fillies I've had in a long time. Her sire is Danney's Legacy, and her dam is a gorgeous Joyce Swope. This filly is big and picture perfect. In addition, she's one of the darkest liver chestnut's I've ever seen. She appears black until you look closely. This girl will be on the mare page as she matures, as she is not leaving my farm.

He's a "bilt to the hilt" classic champagne by my Lobo, and by a now deceased mare named Secret's Fancy Lady E. Lady lost her battle on 1/16/2012, so there won't be any more like him, and I'm not planning on him going anywhere. He's always up for a good scratch, and is your best buddy at feed time.
Barracuda is an NBC eligible foal and the most personable colt. He had a rough start in life, but he's making up for it now. He's the first one wanting attention and nickering when you walk out the door. He leaves the others to come to people. He spent the first week of his life in the neo-natal ICU at Mid Rivers, and he owes his life to them and to the Frisella's. Thank God they were there.
